The Association's objectives are:

• The maintenance and further strengthening of the bonds between its members, the organization of social, recreational and collegial events, the dissemination of the spirit of solidarity and the provision of all possible moral support to its members, the development of the spiritual and cultural level of its members, the social contribution of the experience and knowledge of its members, the maintenance and further development of friendly relations between former and current employees.
• Participation in the study of the problems created by European integration, as well as raising public awareness of them.
• Maintaining close contact with the Community mechanisms and representing the interests of former employees as widely as possible and, if necessary, defending them before them.
• Representing the interests of former employees in national authorities and, if necessary, supporting them in administrative and social bodies.
• The pursuit of cooperation with competent state agencies and with legal and natural persons in Greece and abroad, the maintenance/strengthening of contacts and the creation of new contacts with other organizations which, at an international, community or national level, pursue the same goals.
• The availability of the Association's experience to European institutions in the context of retirement preparation.
